The Litespeed Airshow uses “Snoopy vs. the Red Baron” in our World War 1 fighter aircraft demo segment. The Twisted Hobbies Crack Camel and Crack Fokker DR1 Tri-Plane inspired me to add this to our show. This story was originally inspired by the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles Schulz, which featured Snoopy imagining himself in the role of a World War I airman fighting the Red Baron. Its a fun way to demonstrate the advancement of early airplane designs that followed shortly after the Wright Brothers invention really took off.
